tshirt, pants: h&m/ blazer: nordstrom’s (birthday gift from my mom)/ sunnies: rayban
This is the ultimate blazer: the shoulder pads create the perfect amount of structure yet the super lightweight material makes it relaxed. So here is my definition of the perfect blazer: structured and relaxed. Want the definition of oxymoron? I just gave it to you.
Since I am apparently a walking (blogging?) dictionary, want another definition? Yes? O good. A palindrome is a word or phrase that can be read the same way in both directions. Examples: kayak, level, race car, Hannah. That’s right. I am a palindrome. By now I am sure your mind is blown. In just this single blog post I have defined the ultimate blazer, oxymoron and palindrome.

O.M.G….so this whole post just blows my mind. Ever since you overhauled my wardrobe (and changed my life) I have been thinking a lot about clothing. You probably know this since I daily text, gchat, and email you to tell you what i’m wearing, what I purchased, or most importantly what I DIDN’T purchase. I had a dream last night (this is a true story) about mixing patterns, and I woke up with this brilliant idea that I love floral and stripes together (you know how I feel about stripes). Anyways, then I read your blog post and thats what you’re wearing.
Oh, and I knew your name was a palindrome because I specifically remember this time in second grade when we had “indoor recess” and Elise’s mom was doing a word game on the side chalk board and you informed us that your name was spelled the same forwards and backwards…man, even back then you were wicked smart!
Hannah wicked sharp outfit!!
this post is hilarious, palindrome! i love your outfit and how chic and put together you look, but i think i like your definitions and descriptions even better!
How neat that your name is a palindrome…I’m totally jealous
I love the stripes and floral pattern mixing!
Definitely read a book in grade school called “Hannah is a Palindrome”!! Check it out: http://www.amazon.com/Hannah-Palindrome-Mindy-Warshaw-Skolsky/dp/006025727X
There’s a whole book about your name!
PS: Adorbz blazer!

Having a palindrome name is pretty cool! I love this blazer, even if it is an oxymoron, I think I agree, I like a comfy, but structured type blazer. So it’s awesome you found one that exists!
Ha ha, your blog posts amuse me every time! Funny too, when I saw your photo I thought “Hmm, that is the perfect blazer”, then went on to read your post, and couldn’t agree more. Just fabulous!

So heavy, but so light…

Funny and educational post today Hannah! You’d make a great teacher, especially in this sharp outfit. LOVING that blazer and mix of prints between the jacket and shirt. Also, those pants are cut beautifully.
Thanks Cara! These pants were made for me. I am sure of it!
Oh how I love words and also your lovely jacket. Your mom has good taste!

I LOVE the pattern mixing – it just seems that florals and stripes were meant to be together. Your jacket makes it look effortless.
Learned something new.. thanks! I love that blazer, so so cool, and how you combined it with those wide pants, perfection! Kisses

Such a cute blazer!!! I usually cut out shoulder pads…but this looks perfect!
I usually do too. But for some reason these shoulder pads just feel right!
That blazer is really nice. I’ve been wanting to find a floral blazer but I’m super picky, so we’ll find out if that happens, haha. Also, your definitions crack me up. I’m the person that all my friends ask to shut up because I offer tidbits like that, so I say, “preach on, sister!”
Haha! I am always a bit picky when I have something specific in mind. Like I create it in my brain and never find it in real life. O well. Thanks for stopping by- I am totally checking out your blog..NOW!
Love this look. The pattern mixing is fun, but the trousers and blazer still make it formal enough for a day at the office!
