dress thing: sister’s/ jeans: loft/ wedges: target/ necklace: diy/ ring: modcloth
Last time I wore this dress/shirt thing I told you all how impossible it is. I haven’t worn it since- until today. I have been wanting to play with volume in my outfits recently and thought this oversized blouse (or is it a dress? I am so confused by it) would be the perfect piece to use. I would normally never wear something so long over jeans without a belt or tucking it in. But I hate the word “never” when it comes to my personal style so I went for it. Looking at the pictures now, I think I really want to go for volume play the next time because the skinny jeans feel like a cop out.
Is anyone else questioning the weird facial expressions I have been making in my recent posts? They are gradually getting stranger. I should try to smile. Agreed?
I have linked up today with The Pleated Poppy’s WIWW! Go check out the other ladies’ outfits. And their smiles. I guarantee they all know how to smile.

I like the blouse, it’s unique! I’m not sure how I would wear it, but I do like it with your jeans!
I think that’s called a tunic. I like it with the skinny jeans, but if you had wide leg pants, that might look awesome, too. You look great!

Ahh! Tunic! That is it Vivienne.
I love love this blouse!

i think you need to get a pair of faux leather leggings and some hot riding boots…wear it all together! or if you are so brave, just as a dress (probably a slip would be in order). either way, you look amazing. skinny jeans are never a cop out.
I think faux leather leggings are so necessary to my wardrobe. Agreed two birds!
oh that top is great! I hate when you come across something like that and its so hard to style. Anyway, I would probably put that with some leggings and maybe even a patterned belt.

oooOoOOo love this outfit!! I think you could pull it off as either – shirt (which you fantastically did) or a dress? Either way, I love it, especially the colors.

I agree that that top is really versatile! And I love your expressions – anyone can smile, but only you can pull off that what-are-YOU-looking-at expression in your last pic!
Very cute, and I’m in love with that necklace!
Haha! Love this Bonnie.
I think that it looks great paired with the jeans! I agree with the person above who said you could pair it with leggings too

I totally think it is a great piece to translate into fall/winter with leggings/tights and boots!
That would be a difficult piece to style but you did a great job! Love the color blocking on it!

I love that piece. I wouldn’t have any idea what to do with it, but I think you’ve done well both times.
Really love the colors of the top! What about belting it? Or tucking it into a skirt? I have a piece or two in my closet like that – cute and colorful, but impossible to style. It’s just about trial and error until you find something that works. I love it paired with jeans and wedges though – nice and casual.

i am in LOVE with your dress thing! or your sister’s dress thing. what brand is it? i found something very similar in dull colors, but without the buttons on the front, and i was so upset when i saw that they sold out before i could get one! i always like longer things like that for wearing with leggins and boots when it’s cooler outside.
Emailed you!
I love your shirt/dress!!! The colors are perfect and it looks amazing with your jeans.

I like that blouse! Maybe try belting it with some leggings and boots?? Personally I like your expressions – you have such an edgy and rocker vibe I don’t know if a 1000 watt smile would be as effective

This looks really cute over skinny jeans, do you have any black leggings/skinny pants? It would be cute with those or maybe belted with a skirt, or a super voluminous skirt! Love your necklace and sunnies too!
